What is Carlee?
Carlee is a browser-based guessing game. Every day there is one mystery car; the same car for everyone, and you try to figure out which one it is by making guesses and reading the feedback.
About Carlee
A daily car-guessing game built for people who like cars, and a good puzzle.
Daily and Unlimited
Daily is the main mode. A new car unlocks at midnight UTC and everyone plays the same puzzle that day. Once you finish it, that day’s car is done.
Unlimited is optional practice with a random car, available any time at /game?mode=unlimited. It does not affect your streak or win rate.
How the game works
Search for a make or model, submit a guess, and compare attributes like make, country, drivetrain, body style, horsepower, year, and engine. Matching fields turn green; year and horsepower also show whether you need to go higher or lower. You get 6 guesses to find the right car.
Streaks and statistics
Your current streak, max streak, games played, and win rate live in the Statistics panel in the top bar. Only Daily results count toward them.
No account is required. Everything, including an unfinished game you left mid-way, is stored in your browser on this device, so refreshing the page never loses your progress. Clearing your browser data or switching devices starts you over.
Why Carlee was created
Carlee started as a simple personal project: a clean, focused place to play a car-themed guessing game without clutter. The goal is to keep the experience fast, readable, and fun whether you know cars well or are just learning the badges and specs.
About the project
Carlee is an independent side project. Optional accounts for syncing streaks across devices may come later, but the core idea remains the same: one mystery car, six guesses, and a catalog worth exploring.
